By the looks of things, David Kalb was growing some really good shit.
According to Huffington Post, the 41-year-old Pennsylvania man was arrested Monday night after state troopers found 70 psychedelic mushroom plants, weed and other drug-related devices in his public housing apartment in Greensburg.
The officers responded to a disturbance call and found Kalb outside a neighbor’s door. Kalb told them he had lost the key to his joint and his neighbor had the spare key, so that’s why he was standing there.
After leading Kalb through the neighbor’s apartment, they escorted him to his own, and that’s where the shrooms must have really kicked in because Kalb … wait for it … invited them in to help look for his keys.
They obliged, and that’s when they found the mushroom plants, marijuana and “10 mason jars containing active ingredients to manufacture psychedelic mushrooms” that were reportedly “in plain view.”
Kalb was booked on charges of manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance as well as possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, but not before leaving us with a photo of his impression of a kid who was just told you can find candy in a clown’s ass.
