Unless those noodles were made out of gold, then we’re going to say he overreacted.
According to the Daily Mirror, a Chinese man recently ripped out another man’s still-beating heart from his chest and took several bites of it after he refused to share a bowl of noodles.
Police in Suizhou, China said 29-year-old Bo Tuan slit 48-year-old Yul Liao’s throat after he asked for some of Liao’s noodles and was refused. Tuan then sliced Liao open “like he was a bag of rice” and pulled out his still-beating heart in front of dozens of stunned onlookers.
One eyewitness told reporters that several people fainted, adding, “I wish I could have fainted. I can’t stop seeing it even when I close my eyes.”
Other witnesses to the gruesome attack said Tuan paraded around Liao, who at this point was obviously dead, and occasionally took bites of the heart he was still holding in his hand. It took police almost 40 minutes to arrive on the scene, but when they did, Tuan allegedly did not resist arrest.
It couldn’t be confirmed, but we’ll assume noodle-sharing is at an all-time high right now in Suizhou.
