Hot Tub Time Machine is a movie that exists, and now Hot Tub Time Machine 2 is a sequel that exists, and both of those things are great things, because everyone wants a hot tub that is also a time machine. At San Diego Comic-Con, we talked with the star of both of those films, the lovely and talented Clark Duke, and he spoiled a lot of the new sequel, and let us in on how to tell when he’s lying about the quality of a movie he’s in.

Get this – the hot tub that is also a time machine will be in it. No, it’s not a younger, sexier hot tub that is also a time machine, nor is it the plucky daughter of the hot tub that is also a time machine. It is the same hot tub that you’ve grown to know and love, and yes, it also remains a time machine – although this time, we’re going to see the future for Duke, Rob Corddry, and Craig Robinson. No John Cusack this time around, but Adam Scott is a solid addition. Also, Chevy Chase is a magical handyman.
Hot Tub Time Machine 2 comes out on Christmas Day. Hallelujah!
