We’ve been so busy focusing on the blockbusters of Summer 2014 that we’ve been completely neglecting the blockbusters of Summer 2016. What were we thinking? What happened to our priorities? But don’t worry, Batman vs. Superman and Justice League director Zack Snyder is here to set us straight with our first, teasing look at the new Batmobile from Warner Bros.’ rebooted superhero franchise, courtesy of his Twitter account. It’s not a GREAT look, but Zack Snyder intimates that we may see the whole thing as soon as tomorrow.

The Batmobile has evolved over the years, in the comics, various TV series and movies, but fundamentally it is still just a car, and certain similarities are bound to pop up between newer models and the older ones. The raised rear wheels are very reminiscent of the Tumbler from Christopher Nolan’s Batman Begins, The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises…
And the single, pointy fin at the back should look familiar to anyone who’s seen Joel Schumacher’s Batman Forever.
