It’s been nearly 20 years since the last good Die Hard movie, a fact that 20th Century Fox seems to have finally noticed. Well, maybe.
Internet scooper El Mayimbe recently unveiled his latest rumor, suggesting that the studio is currently seeking writers for Die Hard 6, and that their pitches have to include both John McClane, Bruce Willis’s iconic action hero, Zeus Carver, his partner from Die Hard with a Vengeance, played by Samuel L. Jackson.
TWITTER SCOOP: FOX is meeting writers for takes on next DIE HARD. It has to involve John McClane AND Samuel Jackson’s Zeus Carver character!

Die Hard fans should note that El Mayimbe has been both right and wrong in the past, but he’s been right often enough to at least take notice of his latest report. (Although frankly, we like our pitch for a Die Hard prequel even more.) If true, we would certainly welcome Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson reuniting for another action extravaganza. Their unlikely pairing helped make Die Hard with a Vengeance one of the standout films in this long-running franchise, a feat of casting chemistry that neither Live Free or Die Hard or A Good Day to Die Hard have been able to replicate with the likes of Justin Long and Jai Courtney.
