Marvel movie honcho Kevin Feige seems to think there is a cinematic future for Natasha Romanoff. Scarlett Johansson has played Black Widow in several movies so far and is set to have what Feige calls a “very big” role in The Avengers: Age of Ultron, according to Crave’s Cinema Blend.
In fact, Feige is so interested by the role writer/director Joss Whedon has written for her that he is kicking around giving her a movie of her own.
“We learn more about her past and learn more about where she came from and how she became in that film. The notion of exploring that even further in her own film would be great, and we have some development work with that.”
We will all see the evolution of the Johansson’s character when Captain America: The Winter Soldier opens April 4 and when The Avengers: Age of Ultron drops May 1, 2015.
