Okay, we have to admit we never saw this punch coming. Ryan Coogler and Michael B. Jordan, the director and star of the upcoming Fruitvale Station, are teaming up again to tell the story of Apollo Creed’s grandson. Sylvester Stallone is apparently ready to portray Rocky Balboa one more time, who will train Jordan as Creed’s grandson.
There is no word from Crave’s MovieWeb site about whether Carl Weathers, who played Creed in four movies, will get involved with this continuation of the Rocky mythology.
This might be more than a rumor because with the early positive reviews of Fruitvale Station, Coogler and Jordan might have some pull to make this happen.
