Renée Zellweger Is a Y2K Diva in ‘Bridget Jones’ London Photos

Renée Zellweger might be onto something by trying to revitalize interest in a major trend, embracing the capri style in fashionable leather pants in London photos for “Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy.” Zellweger, who looked like a total Y2K diva, attended the photocall for her upcoming film — the final installment of the cult classic — at The Tower Hotel on Thursday and made quite the impression in her throwback attire with certain avant-garde elements. Her co-stars Chiwetel Ejiofor and Leo Woodall were also present for the occasion.

Renée Zellweger pulls off Y2K style for ‘Bridget Jones’ London photocall

The capri-style pants in Renée Zellweger’s “Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy” London photos scream Y2K in every possible way. Zellweger, whose fashion marathon for the premiere of her forthcoming film seems never-ending, attended a photocall on Thursday, pulling off a seemingly long-buried trend. WWD reported that she rocked a pair of cropped and tapered high-waisted leather pants from Hermès and added her own unique twist. The bottomwear also consisted of a belt attached to its waistline, adding a hint of innovation to her truly iconic monochrome look.

To complete her all-black ensemble, Zellweger styled a full-sleeved turtleneck, which she tucked into her pants, with a matching blazer. In addition, she sported a pair of black pointed-toe heels from Christian Louboutin and finished off with fashionable black Persol shades. As for the hair, the two-time Oscar winner styled her blonde locks into a somewhat loose pony. Moreover, she leaned into some neutral and subtle makeup tones, such as a light pink lip and an overall glowy appearance.

Previously, Renée Zellweger nailed a hot-pink strapless Balmain dress for the “Bridget Jones 4” London premiere on Wednesday. The outfit looked gorgeous and vibrant and had a dramatically long trail for that extra flair. Before that, Zellweger stunned in a one-shoulder Saint Laurent lace gown while in Paris for the press tour.
