The Shadow has resurfaced in Gotham City, decades after he should have been dead and buried. The man formerly known as Lamont Cranston isn’t quite the hero that he once was, but he’s far from Batman’s only problem. The Shadow’s rival, the Stag has begun a bloody quest that will spill the blood of the innocent in his wake. And the Dark Knight is sorely outmatched against this foe. Unfortunately for him, the Stag is already recruiting the Joker himself!
In CraveOnline’s exclusive preview for Batman/ The Shadow # 3 , the Joker doesn’t need much convincing to join up with the Stag. We’re not even sure he needs an excuse to kill. Meanwhile, Bruce Wayne has seemingly done the impossible and captured the Shadow himself. But the Shadow can only be held as long as he wishes to be. And a long buried chapter in the life of Alfred Pennyworth may prove instrumental in freeing the Shadow to unleash his particular brand of chaos on Gotham.
