Next month, Marvel and Netflix will formally introduce Iron Fist to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But he won’t be the only one making his debut! The final episode of Luke Cage‘s first season hinted at Colleen Wing’s debut as well, and she’s set to be a major part of Iron Fist’s life going forward.
Within the series, Jessica Henwick is playing Colleen, the owner of a martial arts dojo in New York who finds her own life threatened when she aligns with Danny Rand/Iron Fist against the forces of the Hand and other enemies. Fortunately, Colleen Wing can take care of herself! In the Marvel Universe, Colleen is one half of the Daughters of the Dragon team with Misty Knight, and a world class martial artist in her own right. While it remains to be seen how much of that will be retained for Colleen’s live-action debut, Netflix has released a new preview scene that pits Colleen against two fighters in an underground MMA match. She may be outnumbered, but she isn’t outmatched!

All 13 episodes of Iron Fist season 1 will premiere on Friday, March 17, only on Netflix.
