Instagram slideshows will now allow you to attach multiple photos and videos to one post on the social image sharing site, letting your followers swipe through them in one sitting. As outlined by its reveal video, which features a bunch of grown ass adults hosting a children’s birthday party for their grown ass friend, you can use the feature to capture and post a series of photos from an event. This ensures that your feed won’t be clogged with your photos, and you won’t risk irritating your followers by way of over-sharing.

Fortunately, making use of the Instagram slideshow feature will still allow you to make the in-app photo adjustments it has become known for, turning horrendous photos of you and your friends into pristine works of art. It also won’t affect Instagram Stories, another feature that allows images to be posted in collections, but that only remain on the app for a limited period of time.
Images can be posted as part of an Instagram slideshow by way of clicking the new blue icon when you upload a photo.
