After almost a year, Hell on Wheels is back on AMC for the final seven episodes of the series!
The show may be coming to an end, but first Cullen Bohannon (Anson Mount) has to save his wife and child! Ever since he left the Union Pacific Railroad, Cullen has been attempting to find his estranged wife, Naomi (MacKenzie Porter) and their child. But Cullen’s nemesis, Thor “The Swede” Gundersen (Christopher Heyerdahl) found them first!

Given what we can infer from this scene, Cullen managed to save his family from the Swede, while receiving an injury to his leg. Now, the Swede is Cullen’s prisoner and his fate is in the hands of a man who has many reasons to hate him, not the least of which is the murder of Lily Bell all the way back in season 2!
We wouldn’t be shocked if the Swede worms is way out of danger yet again. And let’s be honest, it just wouldn’t be the same show without the Swede causing trouble! And there is also the matter of Brigham Young, who might have a thing or two to say about the Swede’s part in the attempt on his life.
The midseason premiere of Hell on Wheels will air this Saturday, June 11 on AMC.
