Surgeon Simulator’s Donald Trump Mode Lets You Give The Donald a Heart

The brand new Surgeon Simulator Donald Trump mode allows you to operate on the Republican presidential candidate, deciding whether to give him a golden or a stone heart.

The ‘Inside Donald Trump’ mode allows players to make a vote of their own prior to the US elections, with them being tasked with operating upon Trump and fitting him with a new heart, based upon their opinion of the potential future president. Aside from that, the game largely remains the same, with players able to saw away at their patient’s bones, removes organs, and accidentally drop medical tools in their rib cage. Only instead of it being an anonymous character model, this time it’s a digital recreation of The Donald.

While it’s clear that the Inside Donald Trump mode is intended to a be a humorous addition to the base Surgeon Simulator game, it does present something of a moral quandary given the inherent issue with placing a real-world human in a game in which the player is encouraged to commit violent acts upon them. While Surgeon Simulator is a game that’s ostensibly about rescuing the person on the operating table, the real fun is in the large number of “mistakes” the player can commit given its intentionally clunky controls, with this being no different following the introduction of Trump. Regardless of your opinion on Trump, and many would inevitably believe this game to be a form of cathartic exercise given the divisive statements the GOP candidate has made throughout his campaign, players are essentially being allowed to disembowel an IRL man. That’s a bit weird.

Inside Donald Trump is now available to play for free for those who own Surgeon Simulator, with developer Bossa Studios eventually set to reveal the number of players who gave Trump a stone and a golden heart. Check out the trailer in the video below:
