When you have to become more than human, less than human, or Margaret Thatcher, then Mark Coulier is your man. The Oscar-winning makeup artist has been making actors look better and worse for decades, on classic horror films like Nightbreed and Candyman, art house hits like The Grand Budapest Hotel and The Iron Lady, and fantasy classics like the whole freakin’ Harry Potter series.
And since he’s also the man behind the awesome makeup effects in Pride and Prejudice and Zombies (now available on home video), we brought him and his associate Dan Gilbert down to the Crave studio to transform our film critic William Bibbiani into a member of the walking dead. If you were following along on social media you saw the transformation go down over the course of the morning, but now you can see the whole devolution of the man they call Bibbs in just under a minute.
Check it out! Our video team even added sultry tunes!
