In the first good news to come out of the 2016 Australian Federal Election so far, it turns out that The Chaser will be back on our screens to cover all the back stabbing and flesh pressing shenanigans along with some comfortable satire.
Yep, The Chaser Election Desk is set to take over Wednesday nights kicking off in June. Hurrah!
They’ve got a special weapon up their sleeves this time, though, boasting the longest election desk ever, even longer than Channel 7‘s election desk, Channel 9‘s election desk and even Channel 10 election night movie. Glad to see they are going for high-minded commentary rather than cheap jokes and puns (that’s our racket guys, clear off).
With a host of new correspondents and commentators along in support, as well as the Election Desk (they had to find someone to fill out the extra spots on the desk) the boys have been reinvigorated by the new blood. If only we could say the same thing of Parliament right?
