Tonight on The Flash’s second season finale, the Zoom storyline will come to an end, one way or another!
Zoom has stolen Barry Allen’s speed, his trust, and even taken the life of his father in the closing moments of last week’s penultimate episode. But Zoom isn’t done with Barry just yet. Tonight’s episode is called “The Race of His Life,” and as the title implies, everything is going to come down to a climactic race between Barry and Zoom to determine the fate of every world in the multiverse.
Ahead of the season finale, The CW has released a preview scene that finds Barry breaking the news to his friends and family. But Dr. Harrison Wells has already figured out the truth. Zoom has much grander designs than simply beating the Scarlet Speedster. In this clip, Zoom’s ultimate plan is revealed.

The CW has also released a synopsis for the season finale:
“After Zoom (guest star Teddy Sears) reveals his true plan, Barry (Grant Gustin) vows to do whatever it takes to stop him.”
Not much to go on, is it? But there is at least one thing we can infer: the season finale will probably drop more than a few hints about what’s coming up next season. And we wouldn’t be surprised if there are some new speedsters after tonight’s episode.
