In the modern era, our new Doctor Fate is none other than Khalid Nassour, a young med student who has dreams of becoming a doctor. But once the helmet of Nabu entered his life, everything else was secondary to being a hero. After the previous issue of his series, Khalid was riding high because he defeated the ghost of Julius Caesar. No, really! We’re not making that up!
But in CraveOnline’s exclusive preview from the 12th and final issue of Doctor Fate, Khalid faces the end of his dreams as actions come back to haunt him. And for all of Fate’s magic, only Khalid’s other skills may save him this time. But even then, there are no guarantees and there’s a life on the line that isn’t his.
