Riverfest Elora, whose humble beginnings eight years ago started with a backyard music fest, has grown tremendously, and this year, it will be held at Elora’s Bissell Park over three days and will feature the musical stylings of Sheepdogs, Walk Off The Earth, Hey Rosetta!, Matthew Good, Kardinal Offishall, and more than 30 other artists.
Past artists have included Metric, Blue Rodeo, Serena Ryder, Sam Roberts Band, and Charles Bradley. The festival was founded by Elora artist Marilyn Koop in 2009 – she passed away in 2012 and the festival continues in her memory.
In addition to three days of music, there will also be food trucks as well as arts and craft vendors.
Ice Jam, Riverfest Elora’s winter music festival, will return to Elora for its fourth installment in March 2017.
