The first thing I remembered about Prince following his passing last week was his amazing yet little-known basketball skills. For others, it was his epic 12-minute halftime performance at Dolphin Stadium during the 2007 Super Bowl.
Prince put on arguably the best halftime show in history when the Colts and Bears took a break during Super Bowl XLI. Not only did the music icon perform a medley of his own hits such as Let’s Go Crazy and Purple Rain, he busted out some Foo Fighters in the process.
The best part? It was actually raining during Purple Rain. Reportedly when producers told Prince it was raining, Prince responded, “Can you make it rain harder?”
