Late last year, the acclaimed crime drama, The Last Panthers debuted in Europe. Now, The Last Panthers is debuting in the U.S., courtesy of SundanceTV!
The Last Panthers opened with a brazen diamond heist that was seemingly the work of a gang known as the Pink Panthers. But there may be more in play than diamonds and money in Jack Thorne’s six-episode miniseries. In CraveOnline’s exclusive clip from the second episode of The Last Panthers, a French-Algerian policeman Khalil Rachedi (Tahar Rahim) learns that his investigation of the heist could threaten his life. And the warning comes from Khalil’s brother, Mokhtar
The Last Panthers also stars Samantha Morton, John Hurt, and Goran Bogdan. You may also recognize the theme song from The Last Panthers, as it’s “Blackstar,” the lead track from David Bowe’s final album of the same name.
Here’s the official description of the second episode of The Last Panthers:
“Naomi goes to Belgium to question a lead who is behind bars, while Milan tries to get the diamond money to pay for his brother’s heart operation, and Khalil interrogates the victim of a home invasion.”
