A teaser trailer for the third series of Peaky Blinders has been unveiled by the BBC.
The trailer features protagonist Tommy Shelby, played by Cilian Murphy, saying: “The things I do, I do for my family.” That’s all there is to it. “Teaser trailer” indeed.
Peaky Blinders season 3 will officially air in May, with it returning to BBC Two despite the rumours that its increased popularity would see it moved to BBC One. The show has proven to be a hit both in the UK and in the US, with it having reached North America by way of Netflix. There’s no news yet on when this season will debut Stateside.
The new series will see Paddy Considine join the cast as a new villain for the Birmingham gang, with the likes of Tom Hardy, Helen McRory, Annabelle Wallis and Charlotte Riley all reprising their roles from last season
