Drake has been teasing fans for weeks about is upcoming album Views From the 6 (an ode to his hometown of Toronto, which has a 416 area code), and two new songs appeared on iTunes from the rapper last week. He also announced he’d drop his new album on April 29th, a date many have been speculating about for months.
“Pop Style” features Jay-Z and Kanye West, and “One Dance” includes Wizkid and Kyla.
In addition to randomly dropping songs (and then removing some of them from the internet entirely), Drake has also been hinting at his new album on social media and has posted various billboards around Toronto as well. In the past several weeks Drake has released four various tracks: “Summer Sixteen,” “Controlla,” a cover of Nico’s “These Days,” and “Faithful.”
This will be Drake’s first album since his 2013 studio album Nothing Was the Same, and the 2015 mixtape What a Time to Be Alive.
