Drake Drops ‘One Dance’ and ‘Pop Style’ featuring Kanye and Jay Z

Drake crept up on a Tuesday morning and snatched the spotlight with both hands, dopping two new singles: “One Dance” featuring Wizkid & Kyla and “Pop Style” featuring The Throne aka Jay Z and Kanye West.  The new audio is produced by Sevn Thomas & Frank Dukes with additional production by Boi-1da & 40.

The tracks are the second and third singles off Drake’s forever-awaited upcoming album Views from The 6.  The Canadian rapper recruited The Throne, a cute nickname for the luxury-rappin’ duo of Jay Z and Kanye West created in 2012 for their Watch The Throne album. Jay Z hasn’t graced a track in over a year, and his presence here is about as lengthy as our interest in the mess called Tidal.

Meanwhile, ”One Dance” follows the same Dancehall vibe of Rihanna’s smash single “Work,” and features Wizkid from Nigeria. It’s solid, but doesn’t stand up to “Pop Style”.

Listen to “One Dance” here and “Pop Style” here.

Drake has said to expect Views From The Six sometime in April, likely as an exclusive to iTunes and Apple Music. Clock’s ticking…

Jay Z’s verse, meanwhile, was pretty much this:
