With their playoff run last fall, key off-season acquisitions and truck-load of young talent, the Chicago Cubs are the current favorite to win the 2016 World Series according to Vegas sportbooks.

The most popular team in the country for decades, the lovable losers haven’t even been to the World Series since the end of WWII, and haven’t won it since a guy named Teddy Roosevelt was President.

Yup, so it shouldn’t be too surprising that Cubs Spring Training tickets are going through the roof, making the north-siders currently more costly to see than any other MLB team.

What used to be $5, $10, $15 to catch your favorite team in a Spring Training scrimmage, is currently costing a median of $70 on the after-market, according to VividSeats

It’s very surprising that Doyers and Natn’ls tickets are in the cellar. Those are two teams stacked with talent with a real shot at a World Series.

But if you ask me, I’m going to whichever ballpark has the best food. Just don’t ask me to spend $70 on Cubs tickets.
