While Ultra Music Festival is the crown gem of live dance music in America, from time to time an act will come out of left field and kick some crossover-appeal ass. This year Swedish dance-pop outfit Miike Snow is among the odd men in, returning from a three-year hiatus to play the massive EDM fest in Miami this month, as well as release a new album, iii, on March 4th.
Listen below to the single “The Heart Of Me,” which takes a leap at heartbreak through the band’s undiminished trademark pep. Pulsing, breathless and dabbling deep in psychedelia, the track is a promising sign of what’s to come with the release of iii.
