Catherine O’Hara And Christopher Plummer Honoured At ACTRA Awards

Actress Catherine O’Hara and actor Christopher Plummer received top honours this weekend at the ACTRA Awards.

O’Hara won Outstanding Performance – Female for her work on Schitt’s Creek, and Plummer won Outstanding Performance – Male for his role in the movie Remember. Other awards that were given our included Outstanding Performance – Voice to Julie Lemieux, and ACTRA Toronto’s 2016 Award of Excellence went to Sarah Gadon.

“In a tough business, it’s always exciting to see professional performers receive the recognition that they so richly deserve,” said David Sparrow, President of ACTRA Toronto, in an official press release.

The 14th Annual ACTRA Awards in Toronto were presented at a live show and gala at The Carlu. The show was hosted by comic Martha Chaves with live music by Salsa Norte.
