Exclusive Preview Scene | Outsiders Season 1 Episode 5

While WGN America’s Outsiders is primarily about the conflict between the Farrell clan and the outside world over the fate of the Shay Mountain, there are actually two love stories that have emerged in the first four episodes.

The newly returned Asa (Joe Anderson) appeared to have claimed the heart of G’Winn Farrell (Gillian Alexy) when they slept together. But all Asa got out of that was a beating and a sympathy kiss when G’Winn went back to Little Foster (Ryan Hurst) and accepted his proposal.

As for the other love story, that’s a little happier…for now. Hasil Farrell (Kyle Gallner) has been courting Sally-Ann (Christina Jackson), and the odds have been stacked against them. Sally-Ann’s an outsider, and Hasil’s a mountain man who couldn’t even spell “Sally-Ann” without help! No one seems to want Hasil and Sally-Ann to form a lasting relationship, and yet somehow, they’ve made it work so far.

In CraveOnline’s exclusive preview scene from the fifth episode of Outsiders, Hasil attempts to apologize to Sally-Anne. And when she tries to brush him off, Hasil displays just how strongly he feels about her. He has an impressive gift for Sally, but that’s not the thing that will win her over…

Of course, there’s more drama coming now that Wade Houghton (Thomas J. Wright) is getting a “promotion.” This was after the police chief literally lost his head in a bear trap, which means the Farrells are Wade’s problem now…whether he likes it or not!

Here’s WGN America’s description of the new episode of Outsiders:

“Asa continues to harass Ned. Ned alerts Haylie, who tells him to man up. Breece starts his new job. Haylie toys with Houghton but he’s not stooping to her level. Caleb starts to sleep walk. Lil Foster and G’Win share the news of their upcoming nuptials. Big Foster and Asa bond over the moonshine. Meanwhile, Lil Foster and G’Win ask Lady Ray for her blessing. Hasil and Sally-Ann’s relationship moves to the next level. Two teen Farrells attempt to recreate Big Foster and Asa’s fun.”

Outsiders airs Tuesday nights at 9 pm on WGN America.
