During the first season of Daredevil, Matt Murdock started wearing a more superhero-like costume to serve as inspiration for the people of Hell’s Kitchen as he targeted the criminal underworld. Unfortunately for Daredevil, he may have inspired the wrong person.
The Punisher (Jon Bernthal) is coming to Hell’s Kitchen in Daredevil season 2, and he’s got even less mercy for criminals than Daredevil himself! For the first time in live-action, the two Marvel icons are set to square off over the fate of their city. But in this newly released promo video, it looks like the Punisher has the upper hand on Daredevil, and he can only listen to the sound of gunfire as he struggles to break free.
In the second promo video, Matt’s partner, Foggy Nelson (Elden Henson) grabs the spotlight as he looks very uneasy. Foggy may not be a vigilante, but he’s made his share of enemies. And with the introduction of Matt’s ex-girlfriend, Elektra Natchios (Elodie Yung), Foggy may very well have to deal with a threat against his own life…and the beautiful assassin who may come to claim it!

Finally, Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll) is featured in the last promo video, as she has a very macabre skull on her desk. Perhaps that’s just a visual cue to remind us that Karen killed a man in self-defense last season…and no one knows. But Karen knows, and that guilt may continue to haunt her in the new season.
Daredevil season 2 will premiere all 13 episodes on Friday, March 18.
