Nearly three years after the end of Breaking Bad, Aaron Paul is returning to headline The Path, a new drama series set to debut on Hulu next month. Joining Paul are True Detective season 1 co-star and Michelle Monaghan, and former Hannibal star Hugh Dancy.
Paul and Monaghan co-star in The Path as Eddie and Sarah Cleary, a married couple deeply entrenched in a religious cult led by Dancy’s Cal Roberts. Sons of Anarchy veteran Rockmond Dunbar also stars in the series as Detective Abe Gaines, a man attempting to bring the cult down. And judging from the first trailer, Detective Gaines may use Eddie’s divided loyalties to finally get the leverage he needs to arrest Roberts.
Hulu’s trailer for The Path also demonstrates the full extent of Sarah Cleary’s beliefs, as she and her husband appear to be on a collision course that could destroy their lives.
The Path’s ten-episode first season will premiere on Hulu starting on March 30.
