The crossover that could never happen on TV is taking place in DC’s Digital first comics! While the classic Batman live-action TV series and The Man From U.N.C.L.E. were both on television during the ‘60s, their competing networks made a crossover inconceivable… until now!
Batman ‘66 Meets The Man From U.N.C.L.E. has brought together the Caped Crusader and the Boy Wonder with their new allies, Agents Napoleon Solo and Illya Kuryakin for very good reasons. The nefarious organization known as T.H.R.U.S.H. has a new leader, and they’re recruiting some of the most diabolical villains in Batman’s rogue’s gallery.
To stop these evil plans, Batman and Robin have recruited Batgirl for her assistance. In CraveOnline’s exclusive preview from Batman ‘66 Meets The Man From U.N.C.L.E. Chapter # 6, Batgirl arrives in the Batcave and the assembled heroes get a rather nasty surprise. Has the apocalypse already begun?!
Here’s DC’s solicitation copy for Batman ‘66 Meets The Man From U.N.C.L.E. Chapter # 6:
“T.H.R.U.S.H.’s latest scheme has Batman and the Men from U.N.C.L.E. packing their bags for Europe. Then, in order to infiltrate this gathering of villains, Batman makes a shocking revelation!”
Regular Batman ‘66 writer Jeff Parker is joined on Batman ‘66 Meets The Man From U.N.C.L.E. Chapter # 6 by artist David Hahn, inker Karl Kesel, and colorist Roberto Flores.
Batman ‘66 Meets The Man From U.N.C.L.E. Chapter # 6 will be available for download Wednesday via the DC Comics App, Readdcentertainment.com, iBooks, comiXology, Google Play, Kindle Store, Nook Store, and iVerse ComicsPlus.
