Kanye Changed His Album Name and Father John Misty Went Crazy

Kanye and Dave Grohl share the crown in the media manipulation game. While the latter uses the media as his own personal reality show TV camera documenting various onstage antics and epics, the former is constantly working the music press to his own designs. Most recent evidence of this can be found in the third name change for Kanye’s forthcoming album, formerly So Help Me God, formerly Swish, and now Waves. 

And it’s certainly making some waves.

 

We may have an extra track as well as a name change:

 

But Father John Misty is having a seriously hard time with the news, however. 

Additionally, Wiz Khalifa is downright upset with the name change, convinced that Waves doesn’t belong to Kanye and his appropriation of the name from Max B. is disrespectful:
