Motörhead frontman Lemmy Kilmister left us all for the great gig in the sky three days after Christmas, but the gaming world has cooked up a killer tribute to the iconic rocker in short order. One savvy soul has created a Grand Theft Auto mod that allows you to play using the beloved, grizzled hero’s likeness.
It’s only fitting that we see wide-reaching tributes to the man so adored in the world of rock that the classic Jack & Coke cocktail was renamed “The Lemmy”. PC owners with a copy of Rockstar’s wildly adored GTA game can install the Lemmy mod with a few easy instructions.
Features include:
1. A Lemmy skin built on game character Michael de Santa, with options to increase the Lemmy likeness with hair, skin, face, beard, hat, glasses, tattoos, and clothes – which, of course, includes a Motörhead t-shirt. So far there hasn’t been any sign of the big-ass mole on Lemmy’s face, but let’s not get picky.
2. Lemmy’s motorbike – a Hexer with an ‘Eat the Rich’ logo – is available to spawn.
3. An assortment of unique commands for smoking, drinking, playing the guitar or drums, and even spawning hookers.
