Who would’ve thought that the Jagged Little Pill songstress, who had so much angst in the 90s, would be penning an advice column for a newspaper. Singer Alanis Morissette is taking over actress Molly Ringwald’s column for The Guardian newspaper in the UK.
According to reports, her first column will be released this week on January 16th – the column will be a “combination of intuition and empathy,” she said to the press.
Morissette, who wrote a number of health- and advice-related blogs and podcasts on her own blog, released her eighth studio album in 2012 entitled Havoc and Bright Lights. A 20th anniversary edition of Jagged Little Pill was also released in 2015 to mark the album’s milestone. Morissette has also dabbled in acting, most recently appearing in the flick The Price of Desire as well as Up All Night and an eight-episode stint on Weeds.
