Memes, flip-phone jokes, covers – Adele‘s Hello is basically the internet right now and while you’re well within your rights to be sick to death of it, this movie mash-up of Adele could be the greatest thing associated to the song yet.
Some mad genius with an exceptional movie knowledge, and a lot of time, has pulled scenes from seemingly every movie ever made to make it seem like they’re all singing along to Adele’s mega-hit.
You get to see Ali G, Big Bird, Dr. Evil, Homer Simpson, Borat, Harry Potter and plenty more lend their vocals (without knowing it) to the song and while they sure can’t hit those notes like Adele, there’s always something quite nostalgic about a movie montage.
The video has nearly already reached a million plays which is impressive, however, it pales in comparison to the 585 million views that the original video for Hello has had.
Given that this mash-up is so brilliant can we all just agree to lay this song to rest for a while now?
