Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish has been dropped from the first-team squad by manager Remi Garde, after the midfielder was spotted leaving a Manchester nightclub following his squad’s 4-0 defeat at Everton.
It was also reported that Grealish enjoyed another night out in Birmingham the day after his club’s humiliating loss, and Garde has now taken the steps to remove him from the club’s starting eleven, with him now training with their under-21 players.
Garde did not state when Grealish will return to Villa’s first team, but with the club currently languishing at the very bottom of the Premier League after having earned just 5 points from 13 matches, it seems that the manager has not taken kindly to the youngster celebrating after they’d suffered another excruciating defeat.
The manager previously admitted that his team were struggling to cope with their awful run of form, saying: “The situation where we are, a little bit short of confidence, the players need to feel that the fans still believe that we can do it. Probably, elsewhere in the country no one else believes in that. But here at Villa Park and around the club we need to feel that it is still possible.”

This is the third controversy Grealish has been involved in this year, with the midfielder having been photographed lying on the floor drunk whilst drunk in Tenerife, which followed an incident where he was photographed by The Sun reportedly inhaling nitrous oxide, more commonly known as laughing gas. Aston Villa fined the player for his behaviour.
