Star Wars Battlefront Mod Features the Most Realistic Graphics We’ve Ever Seen

A new mod for Star Wars Battlefront significantly ups the visual quality of the game, transforming it into the most impressive and downright realistic graphical display we’ve arguably ever seen in a video game.

The mod, developed by Martin Bergman as part of his ‘Toddyhancer’ series, sees the intricate details of Battlefront‘s landscape enhanced, along with improvements to lighting, shadows and particle effects. The end result is stunning, though as you’d expect, it isn’t exactly suited to running on the vast majority of PCs, with Bergman stating that there’s a 30-40fps dip when the mod is turned on.

Still, these sacrifices to the game’s performance are worth it just to see what the modding community is capable of, even if you wouldn’t be able to actually play the game when it’s running said mod.

Bergman has also been responsible for a Toddyhancer mod for Grand Theft Auto V, and you can find more of his work over on his Facebook page.
