Aussie favourites John Butler Trio, Missy Higgins and The Waifs have come together to announce a special one-off Brisbane show for January 2016.
Taking place at under the stars at Riverstage, the all-ages performance will see the three acts share the stage for the first time since 2005’s Wave Aid Tsunami Relief concert in Sydney.
The three-piece’s upcoming show together will be one of John Butler Trio’s last Aussie dates before they head back into the studio next year. The band have spent a solid chunk of 2015 touring in support of their latest album, Flesh + Blood.
After teaming up with John Butler Trio and The Waifs in January, Missy Higgins is set to tour nationally in February and March.
What’s more, John Butler Trio, Missy Higgins and The Waifs all announced their place on Sydney’s Taronga Zoo Twilight program last week.
