Melbourne’s boutique electronic festival Let Them Eat Cake has added a pack of 30 local acts to its 2016 New Year’s Day lineup, including András & Oscar, Harvey Sutherland, Mike Callander and LUCIANBLOMKAMP.
The new list of additions follow the event’s previously announced international acts like digital kings Four Tet, Jon Hopkins and Daniel Avery.
The fourth iteration of Let Them Eat Cake is set to go down at Werribee Park, 30 minutes outside the centre of Melbourne, on 1st January.
Aside from the tunes, the event is also promising “to expand on its theme of architectural abstract-ism, a commentary on design aesthetics paired with an intelligent, minimalist celebration of electronica, with a soupcon of doof kitsch thrown in for good measure”.
