Foo Fighters Mystery Countdown Clock: What’s In Store For November 23?

It’s been a good 45 seconds or so since Dave Grohl has produced a new record, brought a fan onstage to play with him, or designed a stage throne while high as hell – so naturally, there’s something big cooking. As evidenced by the big countdown clock on the official Foo Fighters website, Grohl and friends are brewing up another batch of nu-classic rock shenanigans to dominate the headlines.

We’ll find out what the big countdown is all about at midnight on November 23, though our money is on the announcement of a second season for “Sonic Highways,” the band’s Emmy-winning HBO series documenting essential historical tales from music-driven cities.

Or, y’know, maybe all our goddamn minds will be blown and Dave will announce another Them Crooked Vultures album. But let’s not hold our breath on that one…
