Amazon is really excited about its recently-redesigned vinyl store. They’re celebrating the relaunch with a recurring vinyl giveaway, offering a different record every day for the next week and a half. Running until November 4, the promotion kicked off with Led Zeppelin’s Led Zeppelin I, while today’s offering is The Rolling Stones’ Sticky Fingers LP.
Vinyl lovers can learn more about Amazon’s offer and enter the daily giveaways here. Sadly for international users, the competition is only for those in the U.S. The new storefront is comprehensive and ideal, offering price-tiered and themed selections to tap the recent resurgence of vinyl.
The format’s renewed vitality is strong, outpacing revenue from streaming music throughout 2015 and buoyed in no small part by Jack White’s Third Man Records operation, which operates as something of a Wonka factory for music history revival. TMR recently issued a kids-only portable turntable and record offering as well, while White’s Lazaretto album is the best-selling vinyl record of the last two decades.
