Fallout 4 PC System Requirements Revealed by Bethesda

Bethesda has just revealed the minimum and recommended requirements for PC owners to run the upcoming Fallout 4, and unlike Star Wars Battlefront’s PC version, most PC gamers will more than likely be able to run this on its recommended settings.

The most notable piece of news to be taken from this reveal is that the game will require a 64-bit system rather than a 32-bit system that has been favored by Bethesda in the past, which will allow the game to access more RAM and should generally serve to provide a better experience.

Check out the minimum and recommended Fallout 4 system requirements below:

Minimum Requirements

Windows 7/8/10 (64-bit OS required)

Intel Core i5-2300 2.8 GHz/AMD Phenom II X4 945 3.0 GHz or equivalent

8 GB RAM

30 GB free HDD space

NVIDIA GTX 550 Ti 2GB/AMD Radeon HD 7870 2GB or equivalent

Recommended Requirements

Windows 7/8/10 (64-bit OS required)

Intel Core i7 4790 3.6 GHz/AMD FX-9590 4.7 GHz or equivalent

8 GB RAM

30 GB free HDD space

Bethesda also revealed the unlock times for the game on PC, with the game becoming available at 12.01 am on November 10th, 2015 in all territories, though in the US the unlock time will be 12.01 pm EST, suggesting that states with a PST time zone will instead be able to play it at 9 pm. Outside of the US, the game will become available in Asia at 12 am on Tuesday, November 11th, and in Japan at 12 am on Thursday, December 17th.
