Gwen Stefani has no rare form. She is always polished, pretty and an absolute style standout. When she took the stage on Friday night with bandmates Tony Kanal, Tom Dumont and Adrian Young, it was no exception.
Stefani came to the stage looking perfectly curated. With a flawless dip-dye job (just like one she had in the 90s), and her signature red pout, Stefani bounced around the stage looking like she came straight out of the throw back days of Just a Girl, rather than a mom of three.
The band, along with some help on percussion and brass, sounded impeccable billowing out across the massive Chicago crowd. No Doubt performed all the favorite classics, including Don’t Speak, Spiderwebs, and the mellow jam Simple Kind of Life. Stefani took quick breaks to pay it back to some die hard fans – one with a Stefani portrait tattooed on his arm, and another dressed like her straight from her wedding day. (Kinda depressing.)
Stefani closed out the set by climbing up the stage pillar to at least 20 feet off the ground prompting at least a few fans to mutter – good thing she’s wearing Docs.

Gwen Stefani and team left no doubt in our mind that the super rock pop band of the 90s hasn't forgotten how to impress a crowd.
