Jumping a car from one skyscraper through the windows of another skyscraper is nothing new. Heck, Tommy Lee Jones did that in Black Moon Rising way back in 1986. But doing it TWICE? That’s just crazy, but that’s exactly what James Wan did in the blockbuster sequel Furious 7 earlier this year.
It’s a stunt that showed up on posters and practically every trailer and commercial for Furious 7, and it with the enormous advances in visual effects technology it may have been difficult for many audiences members to figure out just how much of the tower jump was really real. Fortunately, this exclusive clip from the Furious 7 Blu-ray special features shows you just how they pulled it off, and how much of that daring power slide was done practically.
You can watch the preview or just trust us when we say that it’s more real than you think. (But not 100% real, because geez, no insurance company was going to pay for that.)
