Who knew the Baltimore Ravens had such a ham? And a kicker nonetheless?!
I guess it would be a kicker who would actually display enough charisma and humor to actually warrant his own commercial. Most players have the personality of turkey sandwich. Not Justin Tucker.
In lieu of the popular over-contemplative yet hilarious Lincoln commercials Matthew McConaughey released within the last year, Tucker decided to show off his comic skills in a parody spot for Carbiz.
And yes, this is a real commercial that’s airing on the east coast.
Fantastic.
The imitation was specifically chosen not only because Tucker can nail an impression of the Oscar winner, but Tucker kicked for the University of Texas in college, where McConaughey is also an alum.
As great as this spot is though, I can’t help but bring up Jim Carrey’s SNL bit from earlier this year in which he did the exact same thing. And it’s one of the funniest things I’ve seen all year.
