Drake’s If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late came out six months ago, and now that it has sold one million copies, it becomes the first platinum album of 2015.
This is the fourth platinum album for Drake (including 2010′s Thank Me Later and 2013′s Nothing Was The Same), with Take Care (2011) achieving double-platinum status.

Drake’s platinum achievement comes hot on the heels of an ongoing feud concerning Meek Mill, an American rapper who alleged that the homegrown rapper used ghostwriters on If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late… guess Mill won’t have much to say after this platinum-gaining accolade.
Drake posted on Instagram: “Platinum off the tape. Views up next. Thank you once again.”
Drake and Lil Wayne will be performing tonight in Saratoga Springs, NY and then tomorrow in Connecticut.
