We’re exhausted. Comic-Con 2015 is finally over and although Crave still has plenty of coverage left to unleash – including exclusive video interviews with the cast and creators of Hannibal, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow and more – the time has come to take stock of this monumental year in pop culture pandering. Which panels kicked ass? Which trailers rocked us to our core? William Bibbiani (CraveOnline), Jenna Busch (Legion of Leia) and Silas Lesnick (Coming Soon) are here to talk about the biggest moments from Comic-Con 2015 – good and bad and everything in between – on a very special episode of Most Craved!
Did ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Win Comic-Con?
Check Out: What If ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Sucks?
J.J. Abrams and Disney trotted out the cast of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, showed new behind the scenes footage and treated fans to a free Star Wars concert. But did you notice how they didn’t actually show off any of the film? Is this a brilliant marketing ploy or a diabolical conspiracy to create a Cult of Enthusiasm that will shout down any negative criticism of the film when it actually comes out? Be honest, did you get a little teary-eyed?
The New ‘Batman v Superman’ Trailer Wows Us
Unlike Star Wars, the new Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer actually showed off a lot of new footage from the actual film, introducing Lex Luthor, Wonder Woman, Kryptonite and a ton of cool Easter Eggs for fans of the comics and as well as the previous movies. Is this how you do Comic-Con right? Does Batman v Superman finally look fun, or will Warner Bros. ever be able to shake the general impression that Zack Snyder’s new film is going to take itself too seriously?
