The Warner Bros. panel was held in Hall H this morning, and a new trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was released into the world. Warner Bros. has been very careful about how much information they are releasing about this film, and the trailers and teasers have been deliberately scant on the ground. Indeed, there has been so much in the way of teasing and obfuscation, that CraveOnline once pondered if the whole damn affair was a real-life movie at all. Today, however, we may feast our eyes on the newest trailer, featuring new footage from the upcoming crossover superhero epic, set for release on March 25th, 2016.
Check Out: Is Batman v Superman a Real Movie?
There still seems to be a dour, dour tone, and a lot has been made of the drab colorlessness of the film in general. But director Zack Snyder and Warner Bros. depressive and angsty versions of these characters finally seem to be leavened a bit. Superman’s colors are finally a bit brighter. Indeed, this trailer highlights the rivalry between the characters, showing that the destructive events of Man of Steel was what outraged Bruce Wayne into coming out of retirement. They seem to be meeting their goal. We also got to see Holly Hunter, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Laurence Fishburne, Jesse Eisenberg. Plus a shot of Wonder Woman, and implication of The Joker, and other players in the ever-expanding Superman universe. Plus, all the portentous dialogue your ears can stand.
Enjoy.
