Morgan Jones (Lennie James) crossed hundreds of miles to be reunited with his friend, Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) on The Walking Dead. But now they may be on opposite sides.
At Comic-Con 2015’s The Walking Dead panel, the first trailer for the sixth season made its debut in front of a screaming crowd of fans in Hall H. The trailer depicts Rick’s efforts to take control of Alexandria, and the pushback he receives from the residents.
But more surprisingly, even Daryl (Norman Reedus) seems to be at odds with Rick’s handling of the situation…before finding himself in danger a very long way from home.
Remember, this is a world in which the dead rise and walk again. That’s a reality that will come back to haunt the residents of Alexandria, who are seen cowering in their homes as the walkers freely roam their streets. Can the community survive? Sure, but not without casualties…
AMC has also announced that The Walking Dead Season 6 will premiere on Sunday, October 11 with a 90 minute season premiere.
