Australia’s beloved music trivia TV program RocKwiz is heading out on the road again following its 13th series, for the RocKwiz Live! Salutes The ARIA Hall Of Fame National Tour, which will feature appearances and performances from Hall Of Fame artists who have hugely influenced music culture.
The RocKwiz Live! Salutes The ARIA Hall Of Fame national tour, which begins in late September, will see some of Australia’s music legends perform their biggest hits while contemporary artists re-interpret classic Aussie songs.
What’s more, four contestants will be drawn from the audience each night to take part in all the RocKwiz antics, in keeping with tradition.
RocKwiz quiz masters Julia Zemiro and Brian Nankervis will be asking the tricky questions, with the usual suspects — Human Scoreboard, Dugald; and the RocKwiz Orkestra — teaming up with Even guitarist Ashley Naylor and singers Vika and Linda Bull.
RocKwiz Live! Salutes The ARIA Hall Of Fame national tour will be the show’s fourth national escapade, and will feature four guest artists each night, with segments, questions and songs all based around the artists in the ARIA Hall Of Fame.
73 artists have been inducted into the ARIA (Australian Recording Industry Association) Hall Of Fame since 1988, including the likes of AC/DC, Cold Chisel, The Bee Gees, INXS, John Farnham, Kylie Minogue, and last year’s inductees Molly Meldrum and Countdown.
The RocKwiz Live! Salutes The ARIA Hall Of Fame national tour won’t be filmed. So, more than ever, there’s a chance for things to go awry.
As Brian Nankervis says, “We stretch out and improvise more in the live shows, taking risks and experimenting without worrying about cameras and lights. It’s liberating and often produces delightfully unexpected results.”

UPDATE 20/07/15: Tickets to the Sydney and Melbourne RocKwiz shows have sold out and new shows in both cities will go on sale today from 12 noon. The second Melbourne show, once again at Melbourne’s iconic Palais Theatre, will take place on 8th October and the second Sydney show at the Enmore Theatre on 15th October. See details below.
