The fifth annual Electric Forest Music Festival is just around the corner, and with the final countdown in place festival organizers are upping the ante on excitement with a stage schedule and some mysterious new stage additions.
The first run of Electric Forest artists was revealed in April, with a second and third wave of act announcements bringing in those such as Dubfire, Soul Clap and Keller Williams’ Grateful Grass only adds to the excitement. In addition, the daily schedule for the weekend has been revealed, including the announcement of two completely new stages for fans to explore in 2015 – The Hangar and Jubilee. According to the website, “festival art and production teams have been working all year in the utmost secrecy” to create these stages, of which “must be experienced to describe.”
Excited yet? For an EDM festival in the woods of Michigan, you damn well should be!
Featured performers at Electric Forest include The String Cheese Incident (performing 3 shows), BASSNECTAR, Skrillex, Kaskade, Flume, Big Gigantic, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Galantis, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, Yonder Mountain String Band, Odesza, Paul Oakenfold, Lotus, Carnage, Carl Cox, G-Eazy, Flux Pavilion, Seun Kuti, Shpongle (Simon Posford DJ Set), Phantogram, Gramatik, Galactic with Macy Gray, Brodinski, Dam-Funk, Four Tet and The Fungineers.
